A quirky little bio for a quirky little web site; Strawberry Luna
'my name is allison. i am a screen printer and designer living in pittsburgh, pa, usa. my husband and i both produce designs, and then i hand screenprint (also known as silkscreen) all of our work. i work on art prints, posters, bags, well...anything that sits still long enough is likely to get inks upon it. i design and print all of my work myself. my posters are real posters, used for real shows, for real bands. yup!'

Cake with giants is the online portfolio of Melbourne based designer and illustrator Amy Borrell. I found this illustration really sweet but interesting because if I was ever invited to a posh party I wouldn't have a clue about the table layout or which piece of cutlery to use! Useful really :)

Featured are the lovely 3D illustrated boxes by Alice Rose Lewis. She also makes beautiful hand finished brooches and pin cushions. Some day I'd love to collaborate with her and create a whole new range of pretty things! Have a look at her recently updated website for more delights!

I discovered this line of 'recession cards' a few days ago by 9Spotmonk. Even though they are very simple they are still very humorous.
'Being poor doesn't mean you can't have a rich sense of humor. Don't let the economy bring you down. Our brand new recession line is a great way to add a kick of humor to your day. Topics in six categories, birthdays, family, love, baby, engagement/marriage and recession. It doesn't hurt that they're inexpensive either!'

I stumbled across these cute little characters and blog by Yum Yum London whilst wandering from blog to blog in my own little world. The most interesting/nicest things are often found when your not really looking for something in particular.
'Yum Yum are Beth Algieri and Jonny Plummer, two directors / designers with a common passion for creating new and exciting things.'

I have taken these from the I am Nikon facebook page where Nikon has uploaded their top 100 and winners of their competition. There are some really lovely images and well captured moments and definitely worth a couple minutes of your time.
'Great pictures always have personality. Whenever you take a picture or a video to share with your friends, you're telling something about yourself. Who you are, who you want to be. I AM NIKON provides a space to do just that!'
Chelsea Conboy when a friend of mine mentioned the arts festival Bumbershoot. I fell in love in the web site and spent the next hour or so searching for the creator of the beautiful art work. I reaaaaaally want the wallpaper but unfortunately the link for download doesn't work! If anyone finds a working one I'd love to know!
