Cake with giants is the online portfolio of Melbourne based designer and illustrator Amy Borrell. I found this illustration really sweet but interesting because if I was ever invited to a posh party I wouldn't have a clue about the table layout or which piece of cutlery to use! Useful really :)

I have taken these from the I am Nikon facebook page where Nikon has uploaded their top 100 and winners of their competition. There are some really lovely images and well captured moments and definitely worth a couple minutes of your time.

Bumbershoot - Chelsea Conboy

I discovered the work of Seattle based illustrator Chelsea Conboy when a friend of mine mentioned the arts festival Bumbershoot. I fell in love in the web site and spent the next hour or so searching for the creator of the beautiful art work. I reaaaaaally want the wallpaper but unfortunately the link for download doesn't work! If anyone finds a working one I'd love to know!

Another little beauty I discovered in my favourites list this afternoon. These greetings cards are by a company called Egg Press who have been designing and handcrafting greeting cards on their antique presses since 1999.
