I know its tuesday and this is one day late but who hasn't been busy these last few days? There was only one thing I could dedicate this post to and of course it is the Queens Diamond Jubilee. I suspect that many of you are fed up with the Jubilee being rammed down your throat at every opportunity but I'm not sorry for this post because its a great thing to celebrate. Its nice to have something that brings the country together and all the bad things are forgotten about for that small while. It actually makes you feel proud to be British (and its not very often that I am). I spent most of the day on the sofa watching the Royal Wedding and now I have done the same for todays events. Its not often that you see the Queen get choked up over the love the people of her country give her especially when she came out onto the balcony at Buckingham Palace and the crowd burst into a chant of 'God Save The Queen'. It was actually quite moving because you rarely see her show such emotion. It makes you realise that despite all of her Royal duties she actually just a normal person who loves her family just like everyone else. Get well soon Prince Phillip! :)

God save our gracious Queen,
Long live our noble Queen,
God save The Queen
