On the 18th of July, 1992 the top image was the first ever image uploaded to the Internet. It was taken by Silvano de Gennaro who was an IT developer at CERN. He then edited it in Photoshop 1.0 (I would have loved to have a go on that!) It was intended for use as a CD cover for the above band Les Horribles Cernettes. I absolutely love the fact that the first ever image uploaded was some what of a photoshop disaster. An image of significant historical importance turns out to be a disaster. It makes me happy haha!
